Curry Tempeh hummus

Curry Tempeh Hummus
Did you know you can make hummus out of tempeh to boost the protein? We tried it with our curry seasoned tempeh and it is incredibly delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) package Tootie's Curry Seasoned Tempeh
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, loosely chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp tamari
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 1/4 cup water
- Dash of sriracha sauce
Instructions
- Break the tempeh into chunks and steam or cook it in a pan (so that it's not raw).
- Combine all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until the consistency ofhummus.
- Serve as a dip in a sandwich or protein bowl. Enjoy!
